Our mission is to coordinate the different national power grids and proactively support European TSOs to ensure security of supply on a European basis. Thus, we provide services to secure energy transmission across the entire European continent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to anticipate the operations both in the short term and the long term, from a year-ahead until intraday (few hours before real time).\nWithin the European context of progressing market mechanisms, continuous growth of renewable energy, ambitious grid development and further harmonization, new coordination challenges are numerous. Thus, the secure operation of the European electricity system will continue to represent a truly international challenge.\nWith our Service Team, Coreso aims to be at the first row in building up, the adequate operational processes to cope with those game-changing trends and with evolving regulatory environment. That is why, to achieve our ambitious goals, the corresponding operational human expertise is essential.\n\nThe Service Engineer is responsible for defining, developing and implementing coordination services, through projects in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, in order to meet the (mandatory) requirements issued by ENTSO-E and European regulation.\nIn international teams, she/he ensures the start-up and realisation of Coreso’s service projects as well as research or innovation projects. This is in order to reach the objectives of the project pillar of Coreso in an optimal way, while respecting budgets and deadlines.\nLet’s give you a preview of your future mission!\nBeing a Service Engineer, your main tasks will be:\nSetting up projects:\nDefining the main deliverables of the project;\n\nAssessing the risks and required resources related to the project.\n\nManaging projects:\nDelivering substantial technical contributions to the assigned project;\n\nManaging the business part of the contractual agreement with partners;\n\nPlanning, budgeting & resources following.\n\nEnsuring the tooling tests and deployment;\n\nProject reporting.\n\nKnowledge sharing\nParticipating to internal & external workshops;\n\nProviding internal & external trainings;\n\nEnsuring Knowledge management throughout the Coreso value chain.\n\nManaging stakeholders and an external network of TSOs & RCC\nManaging the internal and external stakeholders;\n\nParticipating & advising in various working groups;\n\nBeing the link between Coreso and its shareholders.\n\nThe above tasks are not exhaustive. After all, you are the expert!\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nYou hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) in economics, engineering or other if relevant.\n\nYou have at least 1-5 years of experience.\n\nStrong analytical skills and structured problem solving. Proven track record on transversal management of multiple projects in the TSOs community.\n\nStrong communication skills, concrete experience on complex projects & market design issues.\n\nYou have concrete experience in managing projects and external representation in the TSO community and/or towards policy makers.\n\nExperience with people management is a plus.\n\nProven expertise in TSO organisation(s) and understanding of the TSO business model, Services by RCCs, European energy regulatory framework and EU policy objectives.\n\nYou can communicate fluently in English both written and oral.\n\nYou are a team player, interested to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging activities to contribute to a rapid-growing organization such as Coreso.\n\nOur offer?\nWe are a small organization with European-wide impact.
