AI and Automation Developer

Coretek is seeking an AI and Automation Developer to build and support solutions that improve how our teams work. You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand their processes, turn requirements into working solutions, and carry assigned projects through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

This role combines hands-on development with practical business problem solving. You will build AI agents and automated workflows, connect business systems, and improve solutions based on real usage. We expect you to take ownership of your work, communicate progress and issues early, and deliver solutions that people can rely on.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, clarify requirements, and agree on scope and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain AI agents and workflows using Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Tines, and supporting code as needed.
• Connect applications such as Microsoft Teams and Salesforce through APIs, webhooks, and platform connectors. Handle authentication and data access securely.
• Apply generative AI, prompt design, and data retrieval to business tasks. Evaluate output quality and address inaccurate or incomplete responses.
• Use Elastic, including Elasticsearch and Kibana, to support search, data retrieval, and analysis of logs and operational data where appropriate.
• Test with representative data, exceptions, and edge cases. Resolve defects and complete peer review and business validation before release.
• Deploy solutions with appropriate logging, error handling, and human approval steps. Monitor their operation and troubleshoot issues after launch.
• Document workflows, integrations, configuration, and design decisions so another team member can maintain or extend the solution.
• Estimate effort, keep stakeholders informed, and raise blockers or risks before they affect commitments. Track the time saved or other agreed business results.
• Work with developers and subject matter experts to improve reusable components, review changes, and assess tools that could improve delivery.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in software development, automation, systems integration, or a closely related technical role.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering a working automation or application through testing and deployment, with responsibility for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with at least one automation or AI platform, such as Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Tines, or a comparable tool.
• Working proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript, and experience using REST APIs and JSON.
• Practical understanding of large language models, prompt design, and the need to validate AI-generated outputs before using them in business processes.
• Familiarity with Git, basic testing practices, and secure handling of credentials and business data.
• Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage assigned work as requirements and priorities change.

Preferred experience

• Experience building Tines workflows or working with Elastic, including Elasticsearch queries, indexes, or Kibana dashboards.
• Experience with Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power BI, or integrations involving Microsoft Teams and Salesforce.
• Effective use of coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, with independent review and testing of generated code.
• Experience measuring automation results, such as reduced handling time, fewer manual steps, improved accuracy, or lower support effort.

Tools and platforms

The role uses Microsoft Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Tines, and Elastic. The tools used on each project depend on the business requirements and existing systems.

Success means delivering automations that meet agreed requirements and remain reliable after deployment. You follow through on commitments, keep documentation current, and help business teams confirm that the solutions are reducing manual effort or improving the quality of their work.
