It is never finished: every change we make reaches both manufacturers, often several times a week. That kind of tempo is only possible if you can prove a release is solid before it leaves the building. That is why we built Customer Zero.\nWhat is Customer Zero?Customer Zero is the Coretura canary OEM: a real, production-shaped tenant run as if it were an external customer, with its own identities, its own network, and its own access boundary, outside the internal Coretura network. It is the first real recipient of every release, and the point is simple: find what is broken or rough before Volvo, Daimler, or the next OEM does.\nWhat you will be doingYou own the technical environment that makes Customer Zero credible, not just that it exists, but that it genuinely behaves like the environment of a real customer, by making sure the build environment and development tools work in an OEM context. \nIn practice, that means building and maintaining the infrastructure, keeping the developer portal and development environment operational. Setting up routine validation on every release to make sure that every release is better than the last. You will team up with our Customer Zero Lead and work closely with Quality Release Engineers and own the technical cloud domain of the simulated customer environment. \nCommunication is at the heart of the role. Customer Zero sits between teams, so you will spend much of your time sharing what you find, explaining why it matters, and aligning developers and stakeholders around it. You communicate in a way that builds trust and brings people together.\nWhat you will be working with:AWS infrastructure provisioning as code with Terraform and Virtual Engineering Workbench\n\nOur developer portal, built in Next.js and Bun\n\nDocker, GitHub actions, Gerrit, other CI systems\n\nArtifactory, ECS, Grafana\n\nPlaywright, Python or other test frameworks\n\nWe believe you bringPrevious experience developing embedded software\n\nSolid experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform on AWS\n\nHands-on experience running container-based workloads with Docker and ECS/Fargate\n\nConfidence in GitHub, building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or CI tools.\n\nExperience from functional safety or cyber security development, such as ISO- 21434, ISO-26262 or ISO 27001, is a plus rather than a requirement.\n\nWhy this role?The fun part is that nothing written above is set in stone.
