Learn more at www.coreweave.com.\nAbout the Team\nFinance Operations (FinOps) builds the data foundation that CoreWeave’s finance organization runs on. We own the core finance data models, reporting, and tools that FP&A and Accounting rely on to plan, forecast, and report on the business.\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Operations will sit at the intersection of business intelligence and finance. This role is roughly 70% BI and 30% finance. You will write SQL, design data models, and build reporting that finance leaders use every close and forecast cycle. You will also understand the finance behind the numbers, so you can spot when something doesn’t look right and explain why.\nAs CoreWeave grows, so does the scope of what finance needs from its data. You will help automate manual processes, improve data quality, and expand the reporting the team delivers.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and maintain finance data models that serve as a trusted source of truth for planning, forecasting, and reporting.\n\nReplace manual data loads and spreadsheet processes with repeatable, systematic pipelines.\n\nDesign dashboards and reports for close, budget versus actuals, forecasting, and executive reporting.\n\nDefine and govern key finance and business metrics so they are calculated consistently across the organization.\n\nReconcile reporting to source systems and the general ledger, and resolve data issues before they reach stakeholders.\n\nWork with FP&A, Accounting, and Data Engineering to turn finance questions into data requirements and deliver solutions.\n\nBring BI discipline to a finance team, including documentation, testing, version control, and data quality.\n\nWho You Are\nYou have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\nYou have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or financial analysis, including at least 3 years writing SQL in a production setting.\n\nYou have advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning on large datasets.\n\nYou understand BI best practices, including dimensional modeling (star schemas, conformed dimensions, slowly changing dimensions), semantic layers, and data governance.\n\nYou have experience building dashboards and reports in a modern BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.\n\nYou have solid finance fundamentals, including the three financial statements, P&L structure, budgeting and forecasting cycles, budget-versus-actuals analysis, and month-end close.\n\nYou can reconcile data to the general ledger and explain variances to finance stakeholders.\n\nYou are deeply familiar with AI tools, skills, and agents, and use sound judgment about how and when to apply AI in your work-including where it can speed up analysis and where human review still matters.\n\nYou communicate clearly and can explain technical trade-offs to finance partners and finance logic to engineers.\n\nYou have a strong sense of ownership and treat changes to finance data with care because you know who relies on it.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in an FP&A, Finance Systems, or Finance Operations team at a high-growth or public company.\n\nFamiliarity with ERP and CRM data, such as NetSuite and Salesforce.\n\nExperience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.\n\nExperience with Python, dbt, or similar data transformation tools.\n\nExperience in the cloud or technology industry.\n\nWondering if you’re a good fit?\nWe believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams - even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Come join us!\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $110,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
