Learn more at www.coreweave.com.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure for our data center facilities. This individual will be responsible for leading technical design efforts, reviewing consultant work, and ensuring that our electrical systems meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and scalability.\nTravel is required to visit various data center sites.\nAbout the role:\nExecute electrical engineering design tasks for new data center facilities, including build-to-suit, self-performed, and tenant fit-out projects.\nDevelop electrical design solutions that enhance speed of deployment, scalability, and repeatability for hyperscale data center sites.\nContribute innovative design concepts and technical approaches to improve efficiency, reliability, and constructability.\nSupport whitespace fit-outs by developing electrical layouts, validating load capacities, coordinating with IT/operations, and ensuring compliance with company standards.\nParticipate in new site due diligence, including evaluation of utility availability, site power constraints, and electrical infrastructure readiness.\nReview electrical striping plans to verify that loads are properly distributed upstream, ensuring balanced operation under normal and failover conditions.\nReview design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings prepared by consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with Basis of Design and company standards.\nCoordinate closely with third-party consultants, vendors, and internal project teams (IT, operations, mechanical, and project management) to ensure complete and cohesive designs.\nPerform technical calculations and studies (short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash, load flow, etc.) to validate system performance and safety.\nEnsure compliance with industry codes, standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the design and construction process.\nParticipate in factory witness testing, site inspections, and commissioning activities to verify proper installation and operation of electrical systems.\nProvide technical input on budgets, schedules, and resource planning in support of project execution.\nSupport troubleshooting and corrective action efforts related to electrical design and implementation.\nContribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the engineering team.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineering license preferred.\n7+ years of experience in data center engineering.\nProven track record of successfully completing data center design projects.\nStrong knowledge of data center electrical systems, such as Substations, Emergency Generators, Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), Lithium-Ion Battery Plants and Fire Alarm.\nBe familiar with Emergency Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and/or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems with the ability to develop controls sequences and monitoring protocols.\nExperience with large-scale, high-density data centers and cloud infrastructure.\nExcellent communication and project management skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nProfessional certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, BICSI, or similar) are a plus.\nApplicants must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.\nWhy CoreWeave?\nAt CoreWeave, we work hard, have fun, and move fast! The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
