Learn more at www.coreweave.com.\nCoreWeave is looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead the core team for our next-generation Inference Platform.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAs a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Inference team, you will lead a team of senior and staff engineers building and operating CoreWeave's Kubernetes-native inference platform.\nWhat We're Looking For\n8+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud services\n3+ years of engineering management experience, including managing senior and staff-level engineers\nTrack record owning a production service end to end including availability, latency, capacity, and cost\nDeep expertise in Kubernetes at production scale, including orchestration, scheduling, and service design\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, networked services, and performance under load; able to lead architecture and code review without owning the critical path\nExperience defining and defending SLIs/SLOs and error budgets, and building the operational practice behind them\nExperience with multi-tenant platforms: isolation, quota, noisy-neighbor mitigation, and fair sharing\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management; able to create clarity in ambiguous or fast-scaling environment.\nDemonstrated track record of growing and promoting engineers, including into senior and staff-level roles\nExperience running performance calibration and making accurate leveling decisions\nExperience managing underperformance directly and fairly, as well as retaining top performers\nExperience building and owning a hiring bar and interview process for senior engineering roles\nPlatform & Service Expertise\nExperience operating low-latency, high-throughput request-serving systems against strict P95/P99 targets\nWorking knowledge of autoscaling, load balancing, admission control, and traffic management at scale\nExperience with capacity planning and demand forecasting for constrained or expensive resources\nFamiliarity with GPU-backed workloads and the scheduling and utilization trade-offs they introduce\nProgressive delivery practices canarying, feature gating, safe rollback for always on services\nNice to Have\nExperience operating a customer-facing cloud service or developer platform, including API and control-plane design\nFamiliarity with inference-serving stacks such as vLLM, Triton, TensorRT-LLM, Ray Serve, or TorchServe\nExperience operating multi-region fleets at a cloud provider or hyperscaler\nFamiliarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)\nExperience scaling teams, tooling, and processes in a high-growth environment\nWondering if you’re a good fit? Come join us!\nThe base salary range for this role is $188,000 to $303,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
