Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. To effectively coordinate the activities of the team, must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member. Competent to work on most phases of project management, but at times may require guidance from more experience team members.\nEssential Functions\nOversees multiple small to mid-sized medium complexity projects with appropriate departmental and leadership relationship management and project management.\nResponsible for all aspects of a project over its entire life cycle: Develops project plans, budgets, and schedules. Coordinates project work and completes projects on time and within budget. Works with the constituent Project Managers/workgroup leads/Business Analysts responsible for the execution of their areas of a project to monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of component project and operation, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the projects.\nAssesses resource requirements for a project and negotiates for resources with management to meet project plan deliverables. Organizes and works with appropriate leadership, departments, and leaders to plan and schedule the coordination of people and tasks as needed to accomplish project objectives. Able to coordinate activities of numerous, diverse areas simultaneously.\nServes as a liaison for projects between various departments within Corewell Health. Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a consultant to stakeholders/business partners to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.\nAnalyzes and documents processes, procedures, and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.\nAdheres to the Corewell Health Project Management methodology and quality standards. Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management and the Corewell Project Management methodology and toolset.\nQualifications\nRequired\nAssociate's Degree /Technical school or equivalent\n3 years of relevant experience in the field\nExperience leading projects or gathering business requirements\nPreferred\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent\n5 years of relevant experience in the field\nExperience working on clinical projects within with the Epic ecosystem (highly preferred)\nExperience working on large facilities projects\nExperience managing small to medium project teams (2 to 7+) within a matrix organization, and projects in multiple technologies and/or business functions\nCRT - Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Project Management Institute\nHow Corewell Health cares for you\nComprehensive benefits package to meet your financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
