Shuttle bus driver must arrive to work on time, drive their vehicles following a set schedule or route. They must gain familiarity with their route by studying maps if necessary and reading reports. When they drive, they maintain some contact with the department designated person(s), and keep track of passenger pickups and drop-offs as necessary. When passengers have questions, drivers must respond in a polite and friendly manner, deal with any complaints, and help with pick up and drop off. If problematic situations escalate, they must contact their supervisors.\nEssential Functions\nTransports patients from various pick-up locations in the community to the Dearborn hospital campus.\nMaintains fuel, oil, and water levels of vehicle, inspects vehicle for malfunctions and cleanliness and completes daily log sheets.\nEnsures shuttle service is not delayed by making necessary vehicle changes if malfunctions occur.\nMaintains logs, data entry of schedules and other data end points for analysis.\nWork on special projects as required.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n3 years of relevant experience At least three-year driving experience with hospitality and or medical transport\nLIC-Drivers License - Endorsement A (Air Brakes) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire\nLIC-Commercial Drive License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire\nCRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire\nPreferred\nCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Or\nCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross\nAbout Corewell Health\nAs a team member at Corewell Health, you will play an essential role in delivering personalized health care to our patients, members and our communities.
