Responsible for resolution of any operational problems, as well as to maintain the department policies and procedures. Implement new procedures and coordinate inservices in conjunction with the Administrative Manager, OR/CPD Educators and Surgical Materials Managers.\nEssential Functions\nPlan, organize and direct the day-to-day work of subordinates and assist in management of daily departmental operations.\nRespond to and resolve majority of the front-line operational problems.\nCoordinate inservices, meetings, training and orientation of new personnel in conjunction with the CPD educator, manager and surgical materials manager.\nMaintain discipline and corrective actions, as warranted.\nAssist in interviewing candidates for position openings and make hiring recommendations.\nDevelop new procedures and update current ones.\nAccumulate QI statistics and report to manager.\nDemonstrates the delivery of excellent customer service by exhibiting the hospital’s ten customer service behaviors in every aspect of the job (100%).\nQualifications\nRequired High School Diploma or equivalent \nPreferred One to two years of college.\n5 years of relevant experience Five years’ experience as a Central Processing Tech required.
