This person will exercise good judgment, be able to work independently without significant oversight, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Attorney will represent Corgan’s culture, philosophy and brand by assisting others in a client-centric, courteous and professional manner always.\nResponsibilities\nCore Responsibilities\nOversight of negotiating and drafting commercial contracts\nOversight of consultants’ compliance with insurance obligations.\nManagement of internal forms and correspondence\nCoordinate with CLO, AGC, and outside counsel as necessary.\nOversight of contract administrators.\nOther duties and responsibilities as determined by CLO and AGC.\nAdditional Support Responsibilities\nOversight of negotiating and drafting Corgan office leases\nReceive review requests, analyze requirements and determine required action relating to:\nNon-Disclosure Agreements\nVendor agreements\nLien waivers\nData releases\nClaims and dispute resolution support\nQualifications\nQualifications\n3+ years of experience in a corporate legal team or in private practice with expertise in Architectural, Engineering and Construction matters.\nExperience with American Institute of Architects Contract Documents.\nStrong time-management skills.\nAbility to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.\nAbility to complete tasks without detailed instructions or oversight.\nExperience providing quality service; building relationships with internal and externalclients.\nExperience leading a team of legal professionals.\nExperience supporting senior leadership.Desired Qualifications\nIn-house experience at an Architectural / Engineering / Construction firm\nExperience in negotiating contract language.\nExperience in oversight of paralegals, legal assistants, and contract administrators.\nThis position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
