About the Role

Your job is to make insurance the coolest thing on someone's feed.

Insurance is the largest, least-loved industry in financial services, and nobody has ever made it look good. We think that's an opportunity, not a constraint, and we're looking for the person who can prove it.

You'll own motion and video at Corgi end to end: launch films, product explainers, social cuts, event content, recruiting films, whatever the moment needs. You take an idea from rough sketch to published, start to finish. There is no agency, no producer, and no one to hand it off to halfway through.

The team is growing and shipping fast. Product launches land with days of notice. If you need a six-week production cycle to do good work, this isn't the role. If you can turn a Monday conversation into something live by Thursday that people actually send to their friends, it is.

This role is based in our London office.

What You'll Do

• Own launch films for new insurance products, from concept through final grade.
• Build and maintain a motion language for the brand: type in motion, transitions, logo behaviour, sound.
• Turn dry, technical insurance mechanics into something a person will actually watch to the end.
• Work directly with founders and leadership
• Shoot when shooting is the right answer, and animate when it isn't.

Who You Are

• You take ideas from rough sketch to published, start to finish, without being managed through it.
• You have real taste and you can defend it.
• You understand the feed. You know the difference between something that looks nice and something that performs.
• Fast and finished beats perfect and next month. You'd rather ship five things this week than one flawless thing next month.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years in motion design, video editing, or brand film.
• Sound design and grading - you finish your own work rather than handing it off.
• Experience making content that actually performed, with numbers you can point to.
• Bonus: you've worked in-house at a company shipping at speed, or run your own thing.
