You will lead supplier quality improvement initiatives, investigate significant quality issues, and support the qualification and development of suppliers to enable business growth and operational excellence.\nIn addition, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to colleagues within the Supplier Quality team, helping to strengthen quality expertise across the organisation.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead supplier quality improvement activities, working directly with suppliers to reduce defects and eliminate recurring quality issues.\nDrive investigations into significant supplier non-conformances, reviewing root cause analyses and corrective actions to ensure effective and sustainable resolutions.\nAnalyse supplier performance and inspection data to identify trends and support risk-based decisions regarding supplier controls and incoming inspection requirements.\nPlan and conduct supplier audits and support the development and implementation of supplier improvement plans.\nSupport the qualification, approval, and ongoing management of new suppliers and significant changes to existing suppliers.\nCollaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure product and process requirements are translated into effective supplier controls and inspection requirements.\nSupport new product introductions and supplier transfer activities, ensuring supplier capability and quality controls are established prior to routine production.\nProvide coaching, technical guidance, and support to Supplier Quality Engineers and wider Quality team members.\nSupport supplier-related CAPA activities and Change Control processes.\nEnsure compliance with Corin's Quality Management System, ISO 13485 requirements, and all applicable regulatory standards.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for an experienced quality professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence suppliers and stakeholders effectively.\nDegree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nExtensive experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment, ideally within the medical device sector.\nStrong background in Supplier Quality Engineering, supplier development, and supplier qualification activities.\nExperience leading supplier audits, complex quality investigations, and supplier improvement programmes.\nSound knowledge of ISO 13485 and medical device quality management system requirements.\nStrong practical understanding of:\nRoot cause investigation methodologies\nCorrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)\nRisk management principles\nQuality engineering tools and techniques\nAbility to independently lead supplier quality activities and make sound quality decisions.\nDemonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support less experienced engineers.\nWhy Join Corin?\nAt Corin, you'll be part of a collaborative environment where innovation, quality, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.
