We are looking for a Supplier Development Coordinator to play a key role in strengthening and developing our supplier network, ensuring continuity of supply and supporting the successful introduction of new products and suppliers across the organisation.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Operations and Regulatory teams, coordinating critical supplier-related activities from initial identification through qualification and production readiness.\nThe Role\nAs a Supplier Development Coordinator, you will support the development, qualification and implementation of both new and existing suppliers. You will coordinate activities associated with supplier onboarding, business integration, second sourcing initiatives, New Product Introduction (NPI), supplier transfers and supply continuity programmes.\nYou will be responsible for ensuring supplier projects are effectively planned, monitored and progressed, helping the business reduce risk and improve supply chain resilience.\nWhat you’ll do\nSupplier Onboarding & Integration\nSupport supplier setup activities related to business integrations and product transfers.\nManage the completion of supplier documentation, quality requirements, commercial information and system setup activities.\nAct as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.\nEscalate project risks, delays and unresolved actions that could impact implementation timelines.\nSupport the identification and implementation of second-source suppliers for critical materials and components.\nAssist with prioritising second-source opportunities based on business risk, impact and complexity.\nNew Product Introduction (NPI)\nRepresent Supplier Development within NPI projects.\nWork closely with Engineering, Quality and Procurement teams to ensure supplier requirements, specifications and timelines are clearly defined.\nTrack tooling, sample submissions, first article inspections, validation activities and supplier production readiness.\nEnsure supplier-related actions are completed ahead of key project milestones and product launches.\nSupplier Qualification & Development\nCoordinate supplier qualification activities alongside Supplier Quality and Procurement teams.\nSupport the collection and review of supplier capability information, certifications and required documentation.\nCoordinate supplier assessments, audits and follow-up actions.\nMonitor corrective actions and supplier development activities through to completion.\nSupport supplier improvement plans where quality, capacity, delivery or capability risks have been identified.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nNew suppliers onboarded and qualified within agreed timelines.\nSecond-source projects successfully progressed through to production approval.\nSupplier readiness achieved in line with NPI and integration milestones.\nReduced project delays caused by incomplete supplier qualification activities.\nImproved supply chain resilience through the implementation of alternative supply sources.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nExperience working within Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations or a related manufacturing environment.\nPrevious experience supporting supplier onboarding, supplier qualification or supplier development activities.\nStrong project coordination, planning and organisational skills.\nExperience working within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace or automotive.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and project or task management tools.\nA qualification or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline would be advantageous.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and growing organisation where you will play a vital role in supplier development, business continuity and product delivery.
