At your core, you are dependable, humble, and always looking for ways to improve.\nYou might be a fit if you:\nEnjoy working with numbers and have a passion for clean, accurate data\nAre adaptable and comfortable juggling shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment\nTake initiative and don’t wait to be told what needs to be done\nCommunicate clearly and professionally, even when problem-solving under pressure\nAsk questions, seek clarity, and thrive on learning new systems and processes\nBelieve in doing things the right way-not just the fast way\nOperate with a strong sense of personal accountability\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nDaily Accounting Operations\nReview and process daily transactions in the ERP system (Acumatica).\nReview transactions for proper coding, completeness, and appropriate approvals.\nEnter vendor invoices and credit memos\nVerify invoices against purchase orders, receiving documents, and other supporting documentation, as applicable.\nAssist with preparing vendor payment runs and processing approved payments.\nReconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.\nRespond to routine vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.\nMaintain vendor profile setups and adherence to company policy \nReview and reconcile credit card transactions and employee expenses.\nInvestigate discrepancies between bank activity and Acumatica records.\nMaintain electronic accounting files and supporting documentation in accordance with company procedures.\nSKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL:\n1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance\nWorking knowledge of accounting systems and ERP software (Acumatica experience preferred)\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)\nExcellent communication-written, verbal, and interpersonal\nHighly organized, with strong attention to detail and accuracy\nComfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling\nTeam-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving attitude\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity\nSPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:\nWhile this role is based onsite, reliable home Wi-Fi is required in case remote work is needed occasionally\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nHealth, dental, and vision benefits\nPaid time off\n401(k) plan\nEmployee discount\nPaid training and competitive wages\nOpportunities for professional growth and personal development \nJoin Cornbread Hemp and play a vital role in shaping the future of a fast-growing, purpose-driven company.
