The Electronics Hardware Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the electronic design from conception through end-of-life of the next generationCornelis Networks Fabric platforms.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with software engineering, mechanical engineering, and marketing to develop Platform level architectures and board level design requirements, schedules, and cost targets\nDevelop system/board architectures to implement the products\nEvaluate and select components to support the design goals\nDevelop the necessary engineering documentation to support the designs\nDevelop the design files (schematic entry, FPGA code, source code, etc.) to implement the designs\nSupport the layout of the designs\nSupport software engineering to integrate the software\nSupport the system test department on product qualification\nSupport compliance and regulatory testing\nWork with the mechanical, software, system test, and manufacturing departments to assistin moving the product into production\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering \n5+ years of experience with Platform/test card specification, design, debug and bring up in lab\nDemonstrated strength in digital board design, basic signal integrity, board layout tools, and schematic capture tools (Cadence, ORCAD, Mentor Graphics)\nDemonstrated strength with system level debug and determiningroot cause of technical issues\nDemonstrated strength with lab equipment including, but not limited to: DMM, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers\nStrong communicationand interpersonal skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Cadence Concept schematic tools and Allegro Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools\nExperience with board power distribution \nExperience with FPGAs, programmable logic devices (PLD), and Verilog\nExperience with programming languages such as: C, Python, Visual Basic, Perl, TCL, RTL, and others.Experience with Signal integrity simulation tools\n\nExperience with Power integrity tools\nFamiliarity with timing analysis and functional simulation\nCompletion of several board and system development projects\nLocation:This role is based on-site at the Chesterbrook Corporate Center locatedin Wayne, PA.
