This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service.\nDriving Long Distances: Transport goods to various destinations, often across state lines.\n2 - 3 days OTR\nCargo Management: Load, secure, and unload cargo safely.\nDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of working hours and miles driven.\nVehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the truck to ensure it is in good \nworking condition.\nCompliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies.\nRoute Planning: Use GPS and other tools to plan efficient routes.\nCommunication: Coordinate with dispatchers and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.\nSafety: Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure safe driving practices\n Class A Commercial Driver's License.\nClean driving record. \nMinimum of two years experience as a truck driver, preferably with long-haul driving.\nAbility to pass a drug screen and background check.\nWillingness to tarp and strap flatbed loads. \nExperience operating trailer mounted forklift.\nFamiliarity with electronic equipment and software, such as GPS and AVL units.\nAbility to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo\n Site Address: 100 Keystone Industrial Park Rd., Suite 2B, Dunmore, PA 18512\nPosition may require some off shift/overtime hours when needed for machine breakdowns or preplanned maintenance work (Saturdays when production is not running for example)\nWhy work for Cornerstone Building Brands?\nOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
