Responsibilities\nPerforms all duties in a safe manner and follows all Cornerstone Building Brands safety rules, policies, and procedures.\nMaintains an exemplary attendance record and reports to work on time.\nCommunicates effectively in English with operators, team members, supervisors, and support personnel.\nPerforms quality inspections of extruded PVC profiles throughout the production process to verify compliance with product specifications.\nConducts first-piece, in-process, startup, and final quality inspections according to work instructions, control plans, and quality standards.\nUses precision measuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, height gauges, profile gauges, wall thickness gauges, and other inspection tools to verify product dimensions.\nVerifies profile dimensions, cut lengths, wall thickness, appearance, color consistency, gloss, and overall product quality.\nIdentifies and documents defects including but not limited to surface imperfections, contamination, burn marks, scratches, dents, dimensional variation, bow, twist, and color variation.\nEnsures inspection frequencies are completed as required and documents all quality checks accurately.\nMaintains product traceability by verifying labels, production information, lot numbers, line identification, and inspection records.\nApproves or rejects product based on established quality standards and communicates nonconforming conditions immediately.\nWorks closely with Extrusion Operators to identify process deviations and recommends corrective actions to maintain product quality.\nPlaces suspect or nonconforming material on hold and follows established containment procedures.\nCompletes required quality documentation, inspection reports, production records, and electronic data entry accurately and in a timely manner.\nAssists with startup approvals, product changeovers, color changes, and first article inspections.\nPerforms calibration verification of inspection equipment and reports damaged or out-of-calibration measuring devices.\nMonitors compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality procedures.\nSupports root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve product quality.\nReports quality, safety, equipment, or production concerns immediately to the Team Lead, Supervisor, Process Technician, or Engineering.\nWorks with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.\nPerforms 5S activities and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nAssists other production lines or quality inspection areas as needed to support business requirements.\nPerforms additional duties as assigned.\n Ability to accurately use tape measures, calipers, profile gauges, height gauges, wall thickness gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensional specifications, quality standards, work instructions, and production documentation.\nAbility to identify cosmetic and dimensional defects while maintaining attention to detail.\nStrong understanding of basic mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and conversions.\nAbility to convert fractions to decimals and accurately interpret dimensional tolerances.\nAbility to document inspection results accurately using written forms and computerized systems.\nAbility to make sound quality decisions regarding product acceptance or rejection.\nBasic computer skills including data entry, barcode scanners, and production software.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and inspect product for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds when handling product, samples, gauges, or inspection materials.\nAbility to communicate effectively with Operators, Team Leads, Supervisors, Maintenance, Engineering, and Production personnel.\nAbility to work independently while managing multiple production lines and changing priorities.\nPrevious experience in manufacturing quality control, extrusion, plastics, window and door components, or related manufacturing environment is preferred.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, SPC, or ISO quality systems is preferred.\nDemonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to
