For more information, visit us at cornerstonebuildingbrands.com.\n JOB DETAILS\nBase pay rate is $28.50 - $32.90per hour\nShift Hours: 5:00AM - 1:30PM,hours may vary depending on operations.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nUnderstands and follows all safety rules and precautions necessary for working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical apparatus\nDeals with complex factors and makes decisions based on conclusions and findings\nInstalls and repairs various electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units and conduit systems. Works with blueprints, drawings, layouts, verbal instructions and other specifications\nUses different welding equipment (arc, acetylene, brazing, and flame cutting) for lay out and fitting, including making jigs and fixtures\nUses electricians’ hand tools and measuring/testing equipment\nDiagnoses and corrects trouble in the electrical system or equipment, applying standard computations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment\nPerforms visual and mechanical inspections to maintain machinery in good condition ensuring the production of finished quality products to order specifications\nFollows the preventive maintenance program established by the company and conducts equipment inspections, taking preventative action when necessary\nPerforms minor and major repairs on buildings\nNotifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment \nProvides on-the-job direction to new maintenance mechanics and others assisting in maintenance work\nContributes to continuous improvement efforts in work area\nEnsure compliance of applicable Safety Standards and procedures\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical equipment\nExecute equipment repair procedures\nEnsure good housekeeping in work areas\nEnter equipment repair history and close out work orders\nUpdate repair procedures if needed\nMay be assigned additional projects or duties\n High School Diploma or recognized equivalent\nMinimum of 1-3 years of related work experience in a maintenance mechanic function, or equivalent related experience\nPreferred experience as an Electrical Controls Technician in an industrial manufacturing facility\nDemonstrated commitment to electrical safety, strong troubleshooting skills, decision making skills, problem analysis and conflict management skills, particularly in pressure situations\nKnowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and applicable OSHA standards\nHydraulics Experience\nPneumatics Experience\nProficient in reading and understanding electrical diagrams and technical manuals\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist\n Site Address: 1326 Paddock Pl., Woodland, CA 95776\nThis is a position with the potential overtime.
