This includes the oversight of manufacturing-related quality functions at the manufacturing location(s), the enhancement of quality functions, product and process audits, and coordination of quality events to communicate and/or enhance performance.\nResponsibilities include:\nManages Quality Assurance site(s) functions at a tactical level.\nWorks collaboratelly with Corporate Regional Leaders to ensure plant(s) improve quality performance and frequently interacts with other leaders across the region.\nActs as a key contact for suppliers and customers on quality-related issues.\nDevelops and executes effective methods for inspection, testing, sampling, and training.\nDeploy and validate approved revisions to existing methods and procedures to improve products and/or processes.\nEnsures alignment of data collection and analysis with organizational quality objectives. \n Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience\nSix Sigma certification preferred.\nThe successful candidate will have at least 5+ years of manufacturing experience and at least 2 years of quality experience.\nEnthusiastic about the value quality brings to the manufacturing process and passionate about keeping technical skills up to date, understanding best practices, and deploying quality systems to achieve goals and targets. \nDisplays a strong ability to use data to rationally analyze and solve issues. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train and develop staff.\nProven ability to drive Quality, performance, and cultural transformations.\nThorough understanding of quality standards and methodologies.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nTravel required: All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nWhy work for Cornerstone Building Brands?\nOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
