For more information, visit us at http://cornerstonebuildingbrands.com.\n JOB DETAILS\nBase Pay: $21.00 per hour, plus $.75 shift differential per hour\n3rd Shift: Sunday- Thursday, 11pm-7am\nBenefits Start Day 1\nWeekly Pay\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist to set scheduled molds in presses for production and sample orders\nConnect up all water lines to molds to ensure proper cooling without delays occurring due to molds having to be re-watered\nSet all switches on presses after molds are properly set in so that the press will be ready for cycling without delay\nProperly set safety bars and switches\nSet mold protection on all presses to eliminate mold damage\nSpray all molds to be pulled out of presses with mold protection spray and remove from presses without any damage to molds or press\nClean up all excess equipment and supplies\nTo hang molds in press using extreme caution not to damage locating ring and/or other mold components\nClamping molds between platens insuring proper and sufficient clamps are used to keep mold from coming loose\nMaking certain that al molds requiring cool water have all the lines hooked up without loops\nCost control- taking care of hoses, clamps bolts and any other mold supply items to insure longer life\nHousekeeping- picking up all clutter and tools- keeping mold supply cage clean and organized\nEnsure that safety bars and switches are working properly, and work safely performing above functions\nSizing and cutting knock out bars and setting know out strike ¼ to ½” short of full stroke\nConnects water and air lines:Red in and black out\nCut to proper length and not intersecting or rubbing machine parts when movement occurs\n\nComply or promote Company EHS policies and procedures\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nPlease provide a current resume or complete work history\n Mold Setting experience preferred\nProcessing and Setting Molds experience preferred\nMachine Operator experience required\nMechanical ability\nMaintenance experience a plus\nMust be able to read and understand product and equipment caution or information labels\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist\nAbility to move in and out of presses, climb ladders, and torque bolts to 425 ft. lb\nGeneral knowledge of mold design and mold cooling system by layout\nKnowledge of molding press control operations\nRead, understand, and follow “Set Up Prep Checklist” & “Mold Setter General Guidelines”\nAbility to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment\nComplete LOTO Authorized Training\nComplete Crane and Rigging Authorized Training\nComplete Forklift Authorized Training\nPlease provide a current resume or complete work history\n Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?\nOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
