This role partners closely with production and leads the maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and support safe, high-performing manufacturing operations.\nLead extrusion process optimization, troubleshooting, and performance improvement across all lines\nEstablish and maintain standard process parameters to ensure consistency and quality\nAnalyze production data to identify trends and drive efficiency, yield, and throughput improvements\nProvide hands-on technical support during startups, changeovers, and operational disruptions\nLeads the Maintenance Team to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime\nLead Lean/continuous improvement initiatives, including scrap and cost reduction efforts\nEnsure processes meet internal quality standards and customer specifications\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues\nSupport capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new line installations\nTrain, coach, and develop technical staff and operators to build capability across the team\nFirst Shift - 6 AM - 2 PM\n Required:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n5+ years of extrusion manufacturing experience (plastics, vinyl, or similar)\nStrong understanding of extrusion processes, materials, and tooling\nExperience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)\nDemonstrated ability to analyze data and drive measurable improvements\nPreferred:\nExperience in high-volume manufacturing environments\nPrior leadership or supervisory experience\nFamiliarity with ERP/manufacturing systems\n Site Address: 300 Welcome Center Blvd, Lexington, NC 27295\nWhy work for Cornerstone Building Brands?\nOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
