They manage XDA data entry and integrate with inventory processes to meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing the company’s productive capacity.\nKEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOrder Management:\n\nActs on order releases and exception messages from the company system.\n\nProcesses XDA releases and updates material production requirements in MES.\n\nInterfaces with inventory control for scheduling and availability.\n\nResponds to termination and cancellation requests from Sales.\n\nProduction Planning and Management:\n\nAssists in planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations.\n\nAnalyzes sales order releases in terms of capacity planning and material requirements.\n\nOrders floor stock with shelf-life for production.\n\nReviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process.\n\nReleases production orders for materials and purchases.\n\nCollaboration and Additional Responsibilities:\n\nInterfaces with manufacturing personnel, purchasing, and supervisors for material status and production planning.\n\nComfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.\n\nManages special projects as designated by the Plant Manager.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nN/A\nEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nHigh School Diploma required; associate degree preferred.\n\n1 to 2 years of experience in a production planning/materials controls function or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nSome knowledge of manufacturing environment preferred.\n\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nAct consistently with CBB’s Values (Safety, Integrity, & Inclusion) and Behaviors & Mindsets (Customer-Centricity, Interconnectedness, Continuous Improvement).\nQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS\nTo perform satisfactorily in this position, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
