Our products maximize curb appeal and benefit installers by minimizing labour requirements.\n The Supervisor, Branch Warehouse is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of warehouse and fulfillment operations at the branch level. This role owns floor-level execution, inventory accuracy, warehouse labor coordination, and safety compliance.\nThe Supervisor, Branch Warehouse executes daily fulfillment activities aligned to the approved shipping plan and defined capacity. This role partners closely with the Supervisor, Branch Operations and Branch Administrator to ensure warehouse execution supports customer commitments while retaining clear ownership of physical fulfillment.\nKEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nFulfillment & Shipping Execution\nExecute daily picking, staging, and shipping activities aligned to the approved shipping schedule.\nTranslate approved shipping plans into daily execution priorities.\nCoordinate carrier pickups and outbound logistics execution.\nProactively communicate execution risks, constraints, or deviations from plan.\nInventory Management & Accuracy\nOwn inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle counts and physical inventories.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nEnsure proper storage, handling, and material flow within the warehouse.\nPeople Leadership & Safety\nLead, schedule, and direct warehouse associates.\nOwn safety compliance, enforcement, and execution training on the warehouse floor.\nSet clear performance, productivity, and safety expectations.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities.\nIssue Investigation & Root Cause\nInvestigate warehouse-related shortages, damages, and execution issues.\nConfirm facts, constraints, and root cause related to fulfillment failures.\nDocument root cause and corrective actions and implement process improvements to prevent recurrence.\nCross-Functional Coordination & Continuous Improvement\nProvide timely execution feedback to the Supervisor, Branch Operations to support accurate customer communication.\nSupport cross-functional improvement initiatives.\nEscalate systemic risks or capacity constraints to Director, Sales Operations.\nKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)\nFulfillment accuracy and timeliness\nInventory accuracy\nSafety and compliance performance\nLabor efficiency and capacity alignment\nIssue resolution and corrective action effectiveness\nProficiency with ERP, WMS, and standard office systems preferred\n 2-4 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations.\n\nDemonstrated leadership skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.\n\nForklift certification required, or willingness to obtain certification.\n\nExperience in the building materials industry or a distribution environment preferred.\n\nAbility to lift materials as required for the role.\n\n Mitten is committed to an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace.
