CBB is comprised of a family of companies operating manufacturing facilities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with additional sales and distribution offices throughout the United States and Canada.\n The Supply Chain Planner schedules projects for manufacture and assigns demand to assigned fabrication plants and reports to the Supply Chain organization. This role is critical to setting up manufacturing facilities to excel at delivering value to our customers as it negotiates and balances capacity utilization against customer project timelines and upstream handoffs. The role may require planning multiple plants pending role rotations.\nResponsibilities\nReview of un-scheduled project reporting.\nConfirm project is ready for first-pass scheduling.\nCompare project demands to network capacities and apply production, loading, & shipping dates.\nCollaborate with Commercial organization on handling exceptions.\nMaintain level scheduled production volumes within planning horizon.\nCollaborate with other planners to execute cross-network supply and balance LT.\n Experience Required\nMinimum 3 years of experience required.\nTeam-orientated contributor; seamlessly support individual and team objectives\nAbility to establish priority amongst multiple demands to ensure the ‘right work’ is being executed\nStrong communication skills to support effective relationships within planning and supply chain, upstream with commercial, and downstream with manufacturing.\nExcel proficient, VLOOKUP, building and managing pivot tables and large datasets, etc.\nExposure to Kaizen / continuous improvement is highly preferable.\nIn lieu of the above, the willingness to work in small teams to analyze and improve workflow and existing standards.\nStrong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nWillingness to spend time on shop floor to understand how work flows through the plants and impact to cycle times.\n Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?\nOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
