Plus 1.00 shift differential\nThe Extrusion Technician supports production by completing line changeovers, cleaning dies and\ncalibrators, and assisting with equipment startups. This hands-on role is a strong fit for someone\nwith mechanical skills who enjoys working with tools and equipment. The technician follows safe\nwork practices and standard work, communicates clearly with the team, and keeps equipment and\nwork areas ready for production.\nResponsibilities\nCheck the work area for safety and 5S compliance; report concerns or abnormal conditions\nto the Extrusion Team Leader or Supervisor.\nParticipate in Winning Impact Meetings (WIT) prepared to share equipment status,\nchangeover progress, and production priorities.\nComplete extrusion line changeovers according to production schedules, standard work,\nand Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.\nClean calibrators according to established standard work to prepare equipment for\nproduction.\nClean dies according to established standard work to prepare equipment for production.\nUse appropriate tools and follow setup, disassembly, and reassembly procedures during\nchangeovers and extrusion support activities.\nAssist with extrusion line startups to support safe, stable production.\nSupport operators with daily production needs and communicate equipment issues\npromptly.\nMaintain clean, organized work areas and leave tools and equipment ready for the\noncoming shift.\n Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nManufacturing experience preferred; extrusion, machine setup, or line changeover\nexperience is a plus.
