They will sort and count materials going in or out of the warehouse. Some duties and responsibilities include:\nPrepare receiving dock to accept incoming product. \nPrepare materials for shipment. \nMatch incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders. \nOperate a forklift in a safe manner to move product. \nMaintain a safe and clean work environment. \nMay be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments. \nAbility to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) consistently. \nAccurate loading and unloading of deliveries. \nSort and distribute incoming shipments. \nPerform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off. \nReport discrepancies to immediate supervisor. \nFollow current standards and procedures. \nMaintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \n High school diploma or GED. \nForklift certification preferred. \nWorking experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred. \nAbility to perform repetitive heavy lifting. \nAble to communicate both verbally and in writing. \nBasic mathematical skills. \nAbility to weigh and measure items. \nWorking knowledge of safe lifting methods. \nDemonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck. \nAble to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. \nAttention to detail in all areas of
