for project planning.\nExercise discretion and judgment and apply survey principles to meet project challenges.\nCommunicates with Principal Surveyor, Project Manager and/or Survey Coordinator about data.\nReview QC/QA data performed by Survey Data Technician.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nDuties are performed in office and field settings.\nThe employee must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and extended keyboard use and reading of\ncomputer screen.\nMust be able to work outdoors and on construction sites, exposed to outside environmental conditions -\nextreme cold, extreme heat, noise, and focus.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nAdvanced knowledge in the field of energy infrastructure.\nThorough understanding of the practices associated with survey records research.\nThe ability to incorporate field notes and survey data into computer based drafting software for reduction to\nengineering.\nThe ability to consolidate survey data, as-builts, aerial photo data, and maps, etc. into presentable and accurate\nbase maps for design and finished drawings and easements using AutoCAD.\nPosition Descriptions\nSuccessful projects start with the Cornerstone 82\nAdvanced understanding of GIS concepts and processes uses and operations of GPS data capture equipment and\nsoftware.\nExcellent computer/internet skills and a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,\nMicrosoft Project, and Outlook are required.\nExperience with Carlson Civil Suite, Trimble Business Center, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone, Civil 3D, Pix4D.\nExperience with processing point cloud data.\nExperience with 3D survey drawings.\nThe ability to maintain a great deal of interaction with clients.\nThe ability to make boundary determinations under responsible charge\nCapacity to conduct and participate in meetings with senior management\nEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION\nAssociates or bachelor’s degree in surveying or closely related field.\nAble to obtain CST level III and/or LSIT.\n2-5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree and/or LSIT or 5-7 years’
