The teacher will collaborate with the Lead Teacher, Teaching Assistant, and Administrative Staff to develop and implement creative lesson plans.\nKey Responsibilities:\nArrive to work, meetings, and trainings on time\nDevelop, present, and evaluate appropriate lesson plans\n Supervise all classroom and daily routine activities\nAssist Lead Teacher and Teaching Assistant in all daily preparation work and clean-up\nSubmit supply requests as needed\nSkills and Qualifications:\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\n Experience in lesson planning and classroom management\nKnowledge of child development principles\n-Patience and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting\n-Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment\nRequirements\nEducation, Experience, Training Requirements:\nCDA, Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Early Childhood or related field.\nMinimum of 3 months paid or volunteer experience in a childcare setting.\nUnderstanding of child developmental stages.\nCPR and First Aid Certification (required within first 6 months).\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and squatting to engage with children at their level.\nAbility to lift 35-40 lbs, push/pull strollers or cribs, and carry classroom materials.\nMust walk and lead children on field trips and outings.\nRead written materials for classroom and administrative needs.\nCommunicate effectively with children, parents, and staff both verbally and in writing.\nSupervise children in various indoor/outdoor environments and weather conditions.\nProgramming and Compliance Requirements\nKnowledge of NYS Licensing Regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards.\nArrange classroom environments to meet ITERS and ECERS quality standards.\nPromote inclusion, tolerance, and social responsibility using multicultural and anti-bias practices.\nPlan and organize field trips
