Magnit is a leading, global professional services and technology company and a certified “Great Place to Work” Magnit has been a leader in contingent workforce management since 1991 and work with leading Fortune 500 companies and other large organizations across the world.\nFinance Coordinator III Overview:\nHybrid in Charlotte - Consultant will be required to start onsite during training.\n\nCorning Location: 4200 Corning Place, Charlotte, NC 28216.\n\nMUST HAVES:\nRecent SAP experience (within the current job or recent job).\n\nBe ready to speak to experience in phone screen.\n\nExcel (high Intermediate to advanced) - build spreadsheets, formulas, V-Lookup, Pivot tables, etc.\n\nLarge volume collections (both dollar amounts and business size).\n\nLIKE TO HAVES:\nProcess automation experience or curiosity\n\nIf implemented, be able to speak to examples\n\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for managing disputes and deductions to optimize cash flow and profitability for Corning Optical Communications (COC). This role involves collaboration with Shared Services, Finance, Customers, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Operations.\n\nAnalyze root causes of chargebacks and invoicing errors; escalate issues to prevent recurrence.\n\nNotify customers of invalid chargebacks and initiate recovery actions; communicate significant issues to Sales and Customer Operations.\n\nLead collections for disputed accounts and meet performance targets set by leadership.\n\nDrive continuous improvement in systems and reporting tools.\n\nEnforce dispute and deduction policies to safeguard company assets.\n\nParticipate in projects related to chargebacks, invoicing, and order processing system enhancements.\n\nLead chargeback process to support sales objectives, resolve disputes promptly, and minimize bad debt and P5 losses.\n\nKeep Supervisor informed of ongoing issues; request credit/debit memos promptly to maintain clean receivables.\n\nDemonstrate ability to forward thinking and take proactive approach to problem solving\n\nMaintain current documentation for all assigned controlled documents.\n\nEducation & Experience:\nAssociate degree and 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Collections\n\nPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable, or Corporate Collections\n\nRequired Skills:\nProfessional representation of Corning Optical Communications, even under pressure\n\nAdaptability in a dynamic, fast-changing environment\n\nStrong customer focus and commitment to quality\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities\n\nEffective time management and prioritization skills\n\nCollaborative team player with leadership potential\n\nCurrent utilization and Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, Windows, SharePoint;
