You’ll help keep production on schedule while promoting quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nReview production schedules and establish job priorities in coordination with the Supervisor.\nMonitor departmental production targets and help ensure production schedules are met.\nApply knowledge of departmental processes to reinforce work procedures and maintain efficient workflow.\nRead and interpret specifications and blueprints.\nCommunicate company policies to team members and help ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.\nRecommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.\nIdentify opportunities to improve working conditions, equipment use, and team efficiency.\nSupport Lean initiatives and 5S procedures to improve productivity, organization, and workplace safety.\nAnalyze and resolve work-related problems or assist team members with problem-solving.\nRecommend approaches to motivate associates and support departmental goals.\nTrain new associates on safety procedures, equipment operation, quality standards, and work efficiency.\nPrepare miscellaneous reports and documentation as required.\nMonitor quality requirements and notify the Quality Department when standards are not being met.\nFollow company policies, safety regulations, and applicable operating procedures.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree in Business Management preferred, or equivalent experience.\nOne to three years of experience in a similar position and knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate in English.\nHigh integrity and honesty, with a commitment to company values.\nKnowledge of blueprint reading and intermediate math applications, including percentages and conversions.\nExcellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to lead and develop others.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel.\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment:\nThis is an active manufacturing position requiring standing and walking for extended periods, reaching above head level, and sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed. The role requires lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 80 pounds.\nThe work environment may include frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional exposure to extreme heat and vibration, and moderate to high noise levels.
