The Canada Country Manager will also work in close partnership with COROS’ Canadian distribution partner, serving as a strategic, on-the-ground extension of the global team. This role ensures strong alignment between COROS’ global strategy and local execution across sales, marketing, retail, and community initiatives.\nYour Playground\nMarket Ownership & Strategy\nOwn the overall performance of the Canadian market, including revenue growth, brand presence, and long-term market development.\n\nDevelop and execute an annual go-to-market plan aligned with global priorities and local opportunities.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for all COROS activity in Canada, internally and externally.\n\nSales & Channel Management\nLead wholesale and specialty retail strategy across Canada, including account acquisition, growth, and retention.\n\nBuild and manage relationships with key retail partners, buying groups, and strategic accounts.\n\nForecast demand, manage sell-in and sell-through performance, and provide clear reporting on market health and opportunities.\n\nCollaborate with global sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and strong execution.\n\nMarketing & Brand Execution\nLead all Canadian marketing initiatives, including campaigns, retail activations, events, athlete partnerships, and community engagement.\n\nManage local athlete, creator, and ambassador relationships, ensuring alignment with COROS brand values and global guidelines.\n\nExecute product launches, seasonal campaigns, and storytelling initiatives tailored to the Canadian audience.\n\nWork closely with global brand and product marketing teams to localize messaging while maintaining brand consistency.\n\nDistributor Partnership & Alignment\nAct as the primary COROS point of contact for the Canadian distribution partner, fostering a collaborative, transparent, and performance-driven relationship.\n\nPartner closely with the distributor to align on sales targets, forecasting, marketing priorities, and retail execution.\n\nEnsure COROS brand standards, positioning, and go-to-market strategies are consistently and accurately represented in the Canadian market.\n\nSupport the distributor with product education, retail training, launch execution, and field-level insights.\n\nIdentify gaps or opportunities in execution and work proactively with the distributor and internal COROS teams to address them.\n\nProvide regular feedback and reporting to global leadership on distributor performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities.\n\nRetail & Community Presence\nSupport in-store execution through training, merchandising, demos, and education programs.\n\nRepresent COROS at key Canadian races, events, and industry moments.\n\nBuild authentic connections within Canada’s endurance and outdoor communities, ensuring COROS remains credible and relevant.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with global teams across sales, marketing, product, and customer support to align priorities and solve market-specific challenges.\n\nProvide clear market feedback on products, competitors, pricing, and consumer trends.\n\nOperate with a high level of ownership, accountability, and communication in a fast-growing, global organization.\n\nWhat You Bring To The Starting Line\n5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or general market management within the outdoor, run, or sports industry.\n\nDeep understanding of the Canadian outdoor and running landscape, including retail, athletes, and key cultural moments.\n\nProven ability to grow a market through a combination of commercial execution and brand building.\n\nStrong sales acumen, including account management, forecasting, and performance analysis.\n\nExperience managing marketing initiatives such as events, athlete partnerships, retail activations, and campaigns.\n\nExperience working with or alongside distributors, agents, or third-party partners in a regional or country-level role.\n\nComfortable operating autonomously while collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.\n\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\n\nHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.\n\nWillingness to travel regularly within Canada and occasionally internationally.\n\nPassion for endurance sports and an authentic connection to the outdoor community.\n\nThe Setup\nReporting Line: Head of Retail & Sales\n\nWorking Mode: Flexible, remote based in Canada\n\nTravel: Up to 30% travel required retail visits, events, and partner meetings\n\nWork-Life Rhythm: This role is tied to the pace of the sports calendar and trade show season.
