What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - React and Ruby on Rails within our Accuralify division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located onsite in Nagpur, India. In this role, you will build and maintain scalable web applications, develop robust backend systems and APIs, and collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and QA partners to deliver high-quality software.
How We Work
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - React and Ruby on Rails, you will be expected to work onsite in our Nagpur, India office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in the Nagpur office (5 days onsite per week)
- Company-issued equipment

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js
- Building and optimizing RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications
- Collaborating with frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with engineering best practices
- Participating in architectural discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning
- Implementing automated tests using RSpec, Minitest, or other appropriate test frameworks
- Debugging production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing durable fixes
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment workflows
- Mentoring junior developers and promoting engineering excellence across the team
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining complex web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of Ruby, React.js, object-oriented programming principles, and MVC architecture
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React
- Experience with background job frameworks such as Sidekiq or Resque
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and containerized environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, or GCP
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A continuous-improvement mindset with strong ownership of work
- Flexibility to adjust working hours based on business needs, including participating in scheduled meetings with U.S. teams outside standard working hours; reasonable time off or schedule adjustments may be provided when applicable
