This position falls under our Cross Borders line of business and can be based in London, Swindon, or Walsall.\nIn this role, you will be a seasoned cybersecurity professional responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents in a fast-paced environment. You will handle complex investigations, support escalation workflows, lead high-severity incidents, and contribute to the continued maturity of the Security Operations Center.\nYou will operate in a cross-functional environment, working across a wide range of technologies to support and secure business operations. The role requires strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to act as the human-in-the-loop when using AI-enabled security tools, ensuring sound judgement and effective security decision-making.\nThe position reports to the Manager or Director of Security Operations.\nHow We Work\nAs a Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:\nAssigned workspace in our London, Swindon, or Walsall office\n\nCompany-issued equipment\n\nOpportunities to work within a global cybersecurity environment\n\nAccess to professional development and learning resources\n\nRole Responsibilities\nThe responsibilities of the role will include:\nServing as a subject matter expert for a team of analysts supporting 24/7/365 security monitoring and response operations.\n\nMonitoring, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, including participation in off-hours and on-call rotations.\n\nActing as an escalation point for day-to-day SOC operations and leading high-severity or complex security incidents.\n\nAnalysing, triaging, and resolving complex investigations using data from multiple security technologies and information sources.\n\nCorrelating security alerts and events, executing advanced queries, and applying behavioural and anomaly-detection techniques.\n\nLeveraging commercial and open-source technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to automate repetitive tasks, enhance threat detection, and improve response efficiency.\n\nIdentifying opportunities to automate SOC processes and improve operational efficiency.\n\nAssessing programme strengths and weaknesses and recommending AI solutions to enhance team capabilities, skills, and knowledge.\n\nStaying current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, AI developments, and adversary use of AI that may impact services.\n\nRefining security playbooks, policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices and evolving AI capabilities.\n\nRecommending adjustments to security tools and processes to reduce false positives and improve detection quality.\n\nExamining and correlating log data across endpoints, databases, applications, identity systems, networks, mobile platforms, and cloud environments.\n\nWorking with SOAR platforms, SIEM technologies, MCP solutions, threat intelligence sources, endpoints, applications, network devices, and cloud environments.\n\nMentoring junior analysts and supporting the development of the wider SOC team's technical capabilities.\n\nWorking cross-functionally with relevant technical and business teams to support and secure business operations.\n\nQualifications & Skills\nMinimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly within SOC, incident response, and information technology environments.\n\nStrong technical understanding of emerging cybersecurity threats, including adversary use of AI.\n\nExperience with SOAR, SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, identity systems, sandboxes, vulnerability management, and EDR/XDR tools.\n\nBroad understanding of endpoints, applications, network devices, databases, cloud environments, and security monitoring technologies.\n\nStrong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response principles.\n\nExperience analysing and correlating large volumes of security events and log data.\n\nAbility to perform advanced security investigations and make effective decisions during complex or high-severity incidents.\n\nStrong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to use AI-enabled tools effectively while applying appropriate human judgement to security decisions.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organisation.\n\nDemonstrated integrity, curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.\n\nExperience working in a 24/7 operational environment and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.\n\nOne or more of the following certifications would be preferred: GCIH, GCED, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate, or CISSP.\n\nBenefits & Perks\n4x Life Insurance\n\nPension Scheme - 5% employer contribution\n\nPrivate Healthcare\n\n25 days annual leave, with Holiday Buy/Sell options\n\nAccess to LinkedIn Learning\n\nFree rewards and discounts via Gratitudes\n\nAbout Corpay\nAbout Corpay\nCorpay is a global technology organization that is leading the future of commercial payments with a culture of innovation that drives us to constantly create new and better ways to pay.
