develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications and backend services.\n\nDevelop software solutions using C# and .NET, leveraging AWS, serverless technologies, and modern software development practices.\n\nContribute to the development of event-driven applications and distributed systems using asynchronous messaging patterns.\n\nDevelop backend services, RESTful APIs, and system integrations that support business capabilities across Corpay's platforms.\n\nBuild software solutions that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Architects, and fellow engineers to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.\n\nContribute to the design and continuous improvement of distributed systems, considering scalability, resilience, maintainability, and security.\n\nParticipate throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production support.\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that follows engineering standards and secure development practices.\n\nParticipate actively in code reviews, incorporating feedback and contributing constructively to improve overall code quality.\n\nSupport troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues, implementing improvements where appropriate.\n\nWork collaboratively with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure applications are reliable, observable, and production-ready.\n\nProduce and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and technical designs.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve software quality, engineering processes, and application performance.\n\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nQualifications & Skills\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience designing and developing backend systems and cloud-native applications.\n\nExperience developing applications using C# and modern .NET.\n\nExperience developing cloud-native applications using AWS and serverless technologies.\n\nGood understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.\n\nExperience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.\n\nExperience developing workflow automation, business process orchestration, or event-driven business applications.\n\nExperience working with messaging technologies such as Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SQS/SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.\n\nExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases.\n\nExperience using Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation.\n\nWorking knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised application deployments.\n\nExperience implementing logging, monitoring, and observability within production applications.\n\nUnderstanding of secure software development principles and cloud security best practices.\n\nAbility to understand business processes and develop software solutions that improve operational efficiency.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from and support other engineers.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience within financial services, payments, banking, or other regulated industries.\n\nFamiliarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and modern software architecture patterns.\n\nExperience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery
