This position analyzes job orders and requirements to determine optimal tooling and machine processes.\nEssential Functions\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nUtilizes CAD and design-based software such as Cabinet Vision and Alpha CAM to design and nest cabinetry, millwork and furniture related assemblies and components.\nPlans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).\nDetermines reference points, machine cutting paths, or hole locations, and compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures\nDetermines the sequence of machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes. \nRevises programs to eliminate errors, and retests programs to check that problems have been resolved. \nObserves machines on trial runs or conducts computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications. \nMaintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.\nUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.\nAccomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.\nDetermines the feasibility to utilize 3-D Printing technologies and to build a platform for future success and growth.\nRequirements\nBA or BS in engineering - All disciplines.\nComputer aided design CAD software - Hexagon Cabinet Vision and AlphaCAM.\nSpreadsheet software - Microsoft Excel.\nBasic conceptual, technical, and functional skills.\nFamiliarity with process improvement and instrumentation.\nMust have effective communication skills, as well as excellent attendance and work principles.\nDetail-oriented and capable of working on multiple tasks and deadlines.\nMust be dependable with a positive attitude & commitment for success.\nRelated experience in supply management and inventory control preferred.\nAbout Us\nCorporate Interiors is a customer-focused organization specializing in workplace environments.
