Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one.\nJob Summary:\nLead Instructors at Correlation One are responsible for delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction and partnering with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes. Their main focus as educators is to conduct large synchronous online lectures on technical content, training anywhere from 100 to 8,000+ diverse learners at a time, depending on the program. This role involves preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, collaborating with operations personnel, and contributing to the overall success of the program.\nWe are currently planning to launch two programs in January 2027:\n Amazon Cybersecurity 14 for learners in the UK: Monday, January 18, 2027 to Friday, July 9, 2027. Lectures Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 6:30-9:00 PM UK time (1:30-4:00 PM ET)\nAmazon Cybersecurity 13 for learners in the US: January 21, 2027 - July 10, 2027. Lectures are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11:00 am - 1:30 pm ET\nVirtual Classroom Leadership:\nPrepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for a range of learners, which may vary in size from 200 to 8,000+.\nDeliver instruction on skills tailored to Learners' needs, including math, verbal reasoning, and technical problem-solving.\nOversee the management of class time Q&A and monitor chat flow, and overall class energy and engagement dynamics\nCollaboration:\nCollaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.\nBe flexible in contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules vary.\nAssist in lesson design, development, and improvement which may include tracking edits, suggestions, or changes to curriculum as needed \nExpectations:\nIn addition to the core responsibilities, Lead Instructors are expected to adhere to the following expectations:\nProfessionalism:\nInteract professionally with learners, Correlation One staff, additional contractors, and guest speakers, maintaining a high level of courtesy and respect.\nLecture Preparation:\nDiligently and adequately prepare for lectures to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. \nDynamic Online Presence, Responsiveness and Empathy:\nBe highly responsive and empathetic to learners, providing thoughtful answers and assistance throughout the lesson\nAdjust the lesson pace and presentation to meet the needs of diverse learners while also maintaining responsibility for timely delivery of the prepared content.\nExhibit an energy, pacing, and ability to make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement\nCommunication:\nCommunicate respectfully, recognizing that online or written communication may lack tone.\nMaintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel.\nPositive Attitude:\nFoster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning.\nCourse Improvement:\nContribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team.\nYour expertise \n3-5 years of experience in the Cybersecurity field (or another related field)\nDegree in a technical field \nCompTIA Security+ certification or related certifications (i.e. CISM)\nPrevious teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment\nExperience training learners on foundational technical skillsets\nAn excellent educator with a passion for teaching and helping others\nOutstanding team and people management skills\nExperience working with the Unix terminal, especially with cybersecurity-related applications\nFamiliarity with the following topics: Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, Triage\nWhere you are\nThis role is remote.\nCompensation\nThe compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions.
