Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one\nJob Summary:\nLead Instructors at Correlation One are responsible for delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction and partnering with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes. Their main focus as educators is to conduct large synchronous online lectures on technical content, training anywhere from 30 to 300 diverse Learners at a time, depending on the program. This role involves preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, collaborating with operations personnel, and contributing to the overall success of the program.\nProgram Specific Information:\nProgram dates: Jan 11th - April 30th, 2027\nLecture days/time: Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 pm - 2:30 PM ET\nVirtual Classroom Leadership:\nPrepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for a range of Learners.\nOversee the management of class time Q&A and monitor chat flow, and overall class energy and engagement dynamics\nCollaboration:\nCollaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.\nBe flexible in contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules vary.\nAssist in lesson design, development, and improvement which may include tracking edits, suggestions, or changes to curriculum as needed\nExpectations:\nIn addition to the core responsibilities, Lead Instructors are expected to adhere to the following expectations:\nProfessionalism:\nInteract professionally with Learners, Correlation One staff, additional contractors, and guest speakers, maintaining a high level of courtesy and respect.\nLecture Preparation:\nDiligently and adequately prepare for lectures to ensure the delivery of high-quality content.\nDynamic Online Presence\nResponsiveness and Empathy:\nBe highly responsive and empathetic to Learners, providing thoughtful answers and assistance throughout the lesson\nAdjust the lesson pace and presentation to meet the needs of diverse Learners while also maintaining responsibility for timely delivery of the prepared content.\nExhibit an energy, pacing, and ability to make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement\nCommunication:\nCommunicate respectfully, recognizing that online or written communication may lack tone.\nMaintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel.\nPositive Attitude:\nFoster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning.\nCourse Improvement:\nContribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team.\nYour expertise\nExcellent educator with stellar communication skills\nExperience working in physical data centers or similar environments\nExperience in mentoring or supervising if no prior teaching experience\nA desire to support students in upskilling their careers into data roles\nEmpathy, flexibility, patience; passion for working with diverse learners who are new to content\nFluent in English; professional verbal and writing skills\nA+ or Network+ certification are nice to have\nStrong teaching, training, facilitation, coaching, or onboarding experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginner learners\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage and support adult learners from diverse backgrounds\nA strong interest in helping learners transition into data center operations and infrastructure careers\nWhere you are\nThis is a remote position with the preference that the ideal candidate is willing to provide instruction in the Eastern Time zone.\nCompensation\nThe compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets.
