You’ll meaningfully contribute to key data pipelines, partner closely with analytics stakeholders, and help evolve our data platform to be more scalable, trustworthy, and easier to work with.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about production data quality, is comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments, and is motivated by building systems that other teams depend on every day.\nA day in the life:\nDevelop long-term technical vision for the team\n\nDesign technical strategy to develop components, frameworks and libraries to create seamless applications for our customers\n\nHands-on development of scalable components and applications\n\nMentor engineers including senior and junior engineers on their team\n\nImprove and uphold standards for engineering and operational excellence\n\nCreate and encourage comprehensive documentation for code, libraries, and components to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team\n\nYour expertise:\n4+ years of experience in data engineering or closely related roles\n\nStrong experience building and maintaining production data pipelines using Python\n\nHands-on experience integrating data from external APIs\n\nExperience operating batch ELT pipelines and working with data warehouses\n\nAdvanced SQL skills and experience modeling data for analytics and reporting use cases\n\nExperience working with orchestration tools such as Airflow\n\nFamiliarity with dbt or similar transformation tools, and comfort working closely with analytics teams\n\nDemonstrated ownership of production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and incident response\n\nComfort working in ambiguous environments and making pragmatic technical decisions\n\nExperience working in a cloud environment such as GCP (or equivalent)\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and source control (e.g., GitHub)\n\nExperience working in collaborative, iterative development environments\n\nAdditional preferred experience:\n\nDesigning or migrating pipelines toward incremental loading patterns\n\nWorking with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)\n\nExperience with data quality tooling, testing, or observability\n\nExposure to BI tools or supporting analytics workflows\n\nExperience learning and adopting new tools or technologies quickly\n\nWhere you areThis role is remote and should be located in Europe and compatible with EST time zone working hours.\nHow we support our people \nInsurance or subsidies based on country\n\nUnlimited Time Off, with a minimum time off recommendation \n\nCompany-paid holidays\n\nOfficial company-wide holiday for the last week of the calendar year \n\nAccess to free data skills training through our programs\n\nA company culture that empowers individuals and embraces diversity through its core mission\n\nThe compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions.
