Be proactive in identifying gaps in weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, especially as it relates to sell-through trends and channel inventory.\nDemonstrate a collaborative approach while working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in supply and demand assumptions. Provide crucial insights into the area of business and input into forecast models (e.g., market performance and recent sales trends).\nUse and maintain Oracle Cloud SCM Applications as the primary forecasting system tool.\nContribute to managing product lifecycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product transitions.\nGenerate and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) forecasts through product ideation until launch.\nContribute to EOL strategies, such as markdown strategies and/or product position strategies based on E&O.\nHelp prepare reports and presentations.\nBe a driver of continuous improvement opportunities in processes and business results.\nWork with the Demand Manager to consolidate regional plans, perform analysis, and validate regional assumptions and data accuracy.\nSupport the S&OP process by following key monthly milestones and providing forecast inputs.\nSupport day-to-day business transactions and reporting activities as requested by the group lead.\nEssential Skills and Experience:\nStrong analytical skills, experience with large data sets and data analysis, including financial scenario analysis - must have amazing Excel skills.\nAbility to articulate the rationale and calculation behind your forecast.\nSelf-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization.\nAptitude for blending quantitative and qualitative data.\nProven ability to track and manage ongoing activities within a project.\nExcellent English communication skills - both verbal & written.\nExperience working in cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.\nIndependent self-starter who can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience..\nMinimum 8+ years of data analytics/demand planning/forecasting experience with demonstrated success.\nExperience using Oracle SCM Applications, & Power BI a plus.\nComputer hardware, peripherals, and gaming experience a big plus.\nFor roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand.
