With decades of combined experience in our space, our leadership team thrives on helping their clients solve their most complex IT challenges.\nSenior Project Engineer, Cloud\nJob Purpose\nThe Senior Cloud Project Engineer must effectively and efficiently drive toward successful cloud project integrations and professional IT Services to our valued client base. As a Tier 3 subject matter expert for IT solutions, the project engineer provides technical oversight and ensures the project team produces the best possible outcomes for our clients through proper design and implementation. The Project Engineer's deeply specialized knowledge and skills help ensure Corsica's ability to solve even the most complex issues our clients face. The expertise and guidance provided by this role are critical to winning client trust and building the long-term relationships Corsica seeks with all our clients.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a Tier 3 resource and escalation point for the rest of the project team on cloud projects, as needed.\nProvide mentorship and technical oversight to Project Administrators and support Project Engineers.\nProvide project staging of equipment and software.\nCommunicate effectively with both project management as well as client points of contact and end users.\nComplete Project Implementation and Deployments.\nComplete project assignments as tasked (onsite or remote).\nProvide project status updates to Engineering Manager and Project Coordinator daily.\nComplete project discovery tasks to include site surveys and working with clients to understand their needs and then transition findings and client notes to Solutions Engineer for project scoping.\nDraft client recommendations to Solutions Engineer, vCIO and/or Client Service Manager for review with client.\nUpdate PSA software daily with progress of project tasks and other assignments.\nPost-project quality assurance testing assistance.\nServe as client point-of-contact for end user training of new cloud systems deployed.\nMaintain service software documentation and standards.\nWork with other technical groups and engineers as required.\nComplete additional Integrations team tasks as assigned by Engineering Manager.\nTrain team members on new technologies as required for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 to take over support of clients post project.\nStay up-to-date with technology through ongoing education.\nParticipate in Service Strategy to assist Corsica in designing and supporting the best solutions for our clients.\nEducation, Experience, and Certifications:\nRequired\nBachelor's Degree in any IT related field OR equivalent technical certifications (Azure Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, MS 365 Certified, VMWare VCP, etc.)\n4+ years of professional experience implementing IT services in Office365 and/or MS Azure Cloud\n5+ years of Windows Server level technology experience (Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019) as well as the Windows Server Core services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Hyper V)\n6+ years of Microsoft Cloud Solutions/Services experience, including MS Azure and Office365\nExperience creating technical documentation\nPreferred\n1+ year of Linux systems experience\nExperience working with security compliance standards\nAdditional Technical Certifications\nCompetencies and Qualities:\nWindows 10, 11; Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019\nActive Directory Management\nMicrosoft Exchange\nGroup Policy Management\nCore networking disciplines such as DNS, DHCP\nMS Azure and Amazon Web Services\nAWS cloud services such as EC2 instances, Route 53, S3 storage, AMIs, Volumes, Snapshots, Security Groups, and VPCs\nAzure Private Cloud Services such as Virtual Networking, Azure Active Directory, Storage Services, Virtual machines, and Cloud Security\nMicrosoft Cloud Solutions such as Office 365, Exchange online, SharePoint, and OneDrive\nVirtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware\nBackup Platforms\nSAN / NAS\nVoIP technology and equipment\nVaried Client / Server applications\nMust have top-notch customer service skills\nMust have excellent organizational and communication skills\nMust be able to learn new technologies and quickly adapt to new environments\nMust have critical thinking skills and be able to solve complex problems\nMust be able to work in a fast pace environment with ability to multitask\nMust be capable of working onsite alone (with remote assistance as needed) and be able to be resourceful and self-sufficient\nFive Key Characteristics of Corsica Team Members\nProblem Solvers. A one-hour lunch break is provided.
