The technician works closely with facility maintenance personnel, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to maintain and improve building control strategies, diagnose system issues, and support capital and operational projects.\nVISA sponsorship is not available for this position.\nRelocation assistance is not offered for this position.\nThis role will be on site at the Corteva location.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nOperate and maintain building systems including boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhausters, water treatment systems, and Building Management Systems\nUtilize expertise in electrical, instrumentation, water and airflow systems, and controls systems to diagnose equipment problems.\nInvestigate and resolve Building Automation System alarms, communication failures, and control system issues.\nMaintain accurate control system graphics, point databases, and network documentation.\nTroubleshoot sensors, actuators, dampers, valves, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control devices.\nSupport greenhouse, research, laboratory, and facility operations.\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 3 years of experience with building automation or facility controls systems.\nExperience troubleshooting HVAC controls and automated building systems.\nWorking knowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation, pneumatics, actuated valves, etc.\nWhat Makes You Stand Out:\nExperience with Siemens Controls systems, specifically Desigo.\nStrong understanding of the interconnectivity of industrial utility systems.\nKnowledge of electrical controls, Building Automation Systems, and CMMS systems.\nExperience supporting laboratory, greenhouse, and manufacturing settings.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to climb ladders and work at heights.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and occupied buildings.\nAbility to distinguish wire colors and use diagnostic instruments.\nAbility to respond to after-hours emergencies when required.\nWork Environment:\nThis position operates in office, laboratory, industrial, and mechanical room environments.
