Interns will work closely with experienced scientists, engineers, data professionals, and technical experts in an industrial R&D setting, with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, andnetworkacross the company.\nWhatYou’llDo:\nInterns willparticipatein R&D Digital projects supporting data, automation, analytics, and digital tool development across Corteva’s Research and Development organization.\nPartner with R&D stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate use cases into digital solutions. \nBuild, enhance, or automate data workflows, models, dashboards, applications, and/or internal tools that improve efficiency and decision-making. \nApply data engineering, software engineering, analytics, automation, machine learning, and/or AI capabilities to solve R&D problems. \nWork in a safe manner and embody Corteva’s safety culture. \nPresent project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster before colleagues and peers. \nWhat Skills You Need:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Biology, Data Engineering, Information Science, Statistics, or a related field. \nInterest in knowledge graphs, network/graph analytics, machine learning, and/or AI-enabled solutions, ideally applied to biological or genomics data. \nStrong technical aptitude, problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and willingness to engage with stakeholders to understand discovery needs. \nMinimum 3.0 GPA. \nMust be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship. \nMust be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the timeframe of May to August. \nExperience with Python, SQL, graph databases or graph libraries (e.g., Neo4j, NetworkX, PyTorch Geometric/DGL), machine learning, data visualization, or cloud-based data platforms a plus but not required. \nFamiliarity with genomics, microbial biology a plus but not required. \nAre you a good match?
