Come join a company that believes in being a part of something bigger than themselves!\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Test Coordinatorto supportMedical Modeling and Simulation (MM&S)team in support of the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC). The team provides software engineering, model and simulation development, analysis, technical support, and training to support medical systems analyses, logistics analyses, operational risk assessments, and theater medical course of action assessments across the Department of Defense (DoD).\nPosition Responsibilities:\nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nCoordinating the planning, execution, and reporting of software testing activities across multiple projects and releases.\nConducting weekly status meetings\nCoordinating test efforts among cross-functional teams\nReviewing software designs and requirements to arrange for adequate test coverage\nWriting, reviewing, and maintaining test cases and test procedures\nConducting software test and data analyses\nEvaluating test results\nReporting software defects and test results\nGenerating test reports\nProviding feedback to software development team\nJob Requirements:\nRequires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.\nActive SECRET Clearance required\nRequires 5+ years of software testing experience, including 2+ years in a technical coordination/leadership or test lead role.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate a small team and coordinate work among cross-functional team members.\nDevelop and maintain requirements traceability throughout the system lifecycle, including linkage between user needs, system requirements, software requirements, verification activities, and delivered capabilities.\nCoordinate with software developers, analysts, government customers, and end users to ensure requirements are clearly understood, implemented, tested, and validated.\nDemonstrated ability to design and execute manual and automated functional, integration, and regression tests to validate simulation workflows, algorithms, model outputs, and system performance.\nFamiliarity with one or more scripting or statistical computing languages such as Python, R, or PowerShell.\nExcellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with an ability to independently analyze requirements and system behaviors to ensure adequate test coverage.\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced testing environment, while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to describe issues to both the software development team and technical leadership.\nAbility to complete tasks on time and in compliance with AS9100 and CMMI Maturity Level 3 processes/procedures.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nThe position may require approximately 10% travel.\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\nExperience with TestRail or similar test management software\nExperience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar project management system\nExperience extracting data using Structured Query Language (SQL)\nExperience developing Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports\nExperience with automated unit testing of web applications using xUnit, NUnit, Moq, or comparable testing frameworks\nFormal training and/or certification in software
