Join a company that believes success includes making a lasting impact both inside and outside the workplace.\nJob Description:\nCortina Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Management (TSM) System Specialistto support the U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Program Resident Inspection Office (PRO) in Mobile, Alabama. This position provides Technical Support Management (TSM) system administration and Electronic Trial Card (ETC) deficiency tracking support for ship construction, inspection, and sea trial activities.\nThe selected candidate will support lifecycle management of deficiency records, maintain trial card databases, and assist Government personnel with configuration-controlled tracking of discrepancies identified during production, inspection, and dockside and at-sea trials.\nResponsibilities include:\nServe as local administrator for the Technical Support Management (TSM) system supporting OPC PRO deficiency tracking activities \nMaintain ship-specific deficiency record databases within the TSM and Electronic Trial Card (ETC) tools \nTrack deficiency records from creation through verification and closure across inspection and trial events \nSupport Surveillance activities, Test Witnessing, Compartment Completion Inspections, Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and Trial Card tracking processes \nAssist OPC PRO and INSURV personnel with creation, processing, and management of ETC trial cards \nSupport preparation of technical briefings, milestone reviews, assessments, and audit materials related to deficiency status \nGenerate trial card status reports and metrics supporting correction of deficiencies during pre-trial, dockside, and at-sea testing periods \nMaintain capability to create and transfer deficiency data between cutter baselines and rollover trial card datasets \nSupport screening activities before, during, and after dockside and underway trials \nMaintain deployable network capability supporting deficiency tracking during sea trial execution \nCoordinate responses to INSURV database requests associated with trial card status and deficiency reporting \nProvide system overviews and user support for TSM and ETC tools to Government and shipbuilder personnel as required \nSupport preparation of weekly program status reports and technical performance metrics \nAttend meetings and program reviews supporting trial readiness and deficiency management activities\n\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent relevant experience) \nMinimum of six (6) years of experience supporting ship construction deficiency tracking, inspection programs, or trial card management activities \nCurrent CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain prior to start) \nExperience using the Government TSM system and Electronic Trial Card (ETC) tool \nExperience supporting inspection, surveillance, or trial-related deficiency management processes \nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint \nAbility to support dockside and underway trial events, including operation in shipyard and waterfront environments \nAbility to maintain equipment compliance with Authorization to Operate (ATO) requirements supporting trial systems\nActive DoD SECRET security clearance required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting U.S. Coast Guard or U.S. Navy shipbuilding programs \nExperience supporting INSURV trial events or production acceptance testing environments \nFamiliarity with NAVSEA TSM configuration control requirements \nExperience supporting deployable networks or mobile data collection environments during trials
