In DevOps, we build and run scalable infrastructure on AWS and support our development and QE teams, working closely with InfoSec to follow good security practice. It’s a small team, so your work is visible and what you build will be running in production.\nWhat you’ll do\nAs a DevOps Engineer, you’ll build and deploy our AWS infrastructure as code, keep our platform monitored and reliable, and work hand in hand with developers, quality engineers and InfoSec. You’ll be part of a weekly on-call rotation, and you’ll get exposure to AI infrastructure on AWS as the product grows.\nTo make this happen you will\nAWS infrastructure as code\nBuild and deploy AWS resources with CloudFormation, using our in-house deployment orchestrator for ECS services, Lambda functions, CloudFront distributions and custom pipelines. \nAWS platform\nCompute: ECS, Lambda, EC2. \nStorage and delivery: S3, CloudFront, load balancers. \nNetworking and security: VPC, security groups, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager. \nDatabases, as a supporting area: RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MemoryDB. \nMonitoring and on-call\nUse Datadog and CloudWatch for monitoring, alerting and logging, so problems are spotted early and fixed quickly. \nTake part in the out-of-hours on-call roster on a weekly rotation. \nCollaboration\nWork with developers, quality engineers and InfoSec, and share what you learn with the team. \nTroubleshoot application issues alongside the people who built them. \nWork in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management). \nRoom to grow\nGet exposure to AI infrastructure on AWS, such as Bedrock and AgentCore.\nWhat you’ll bring\nTechnical skills\nSolid working knowledge of core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, IAM). \nInfrastructure as code - CloudFormation is what we use. \nScripting in Python. \nGit and pull request workflows. \nContainers and Linux fundamentals. \nNetworking basics: VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, security groups. \nTroubleshooting from logs and metrics, and explaining what you found. \nClear communication, written and spoken. \nExperience\n3+ years in a DevOps, platform, SRE, cloud or infrastructure role. \nHands-on experience running production workloads on AWS. \nAWS certification is desirable, for example AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.\nEven better if you have\nExperience with an observability platform such as Datadog.\nYou are the type of person who\nLikes seeing their work run in production and owning it once it’s there \nDigs into logs and metrics to find the real cause - then explains it clearly \nEnjoys working alongside developers, QE and InfoSec rather than in a silo \nShares what they learn so the whole team gets better \nIs curious about where AI infrastructure on AWS is heading\nCORTO is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential.
