In this role, you will lead and implement DevOps practices while leveraging your programming expertise to build automation tools, improve infrastructure, and enhance system reliability.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure across multiple environments (all major clouds and self-hosted)\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern tooling and GitOps approaches\nBuild kubernetes operators and custom solutions using Go and Python\nLead CI/CD implementation and continuous improvement efforts\nMonitor system health, performance, and security using modern stacks and OpenTelemetry\nBe part of the DevOps on-call rotation (around 2 shifts per month)\nDesign and implement scalable and resilient architecture solutions\nCollaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues\nEstablish best practices for infrastructure management and security\nMentor junior team members on DevOps practices and technologies\nRequirements\n6+ years of experience in IT operations, systems engineering, or a similar role\n3+ years of professional software development experience in Go and/or Python\nStrong experience with GitOps and infrastructure as code tools (ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform)\nExpertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\nDeep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/Concourse)\nProficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability tools and practices (Prometheus Stack and OTel)\nStrong Linux/Unix system administration skills\nKnowledge of networking concepts and security best practices\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with microservices architecture\nYou can explain Kubernetes to your non-technical friends without making their eyes glaze over\nKnowledge of database administration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)\nExperience with message brokers and event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ)\nFamiliarity with service mesh concepts (Envoy, Istio, Linkerd)\nExperience with GitOps workflows\nContributions to open-source projects\nYour infrastructure diagrams are works of art (or at least comprehensible)\nExperience leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers\nTeam Culture\nOur infrastructure team handles more layers than a well-designed Kubernetes cluster\nWe're like Git -
