Utilizing proprietary systems and knowledge from training, a CareIQ Scheduling Coordinator will provide excellent telephonic and written customer service to both inbound and outbound customers. This role operates with a high focus on accuracy and urgency to ensure that appointments are scheduled quickly in alignment with the claimant and customer needs.\nThis is a remote position.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProactively monitors and manages files using proprietary web based applications.\nIdentifies potential problems and trends, proposes solutions and ensures no delay in care.\nProvides telephonic and written customer support services.\nDocuments actions and correspondence between parties.\nEnsures files are complete with all appropriate documentation.\nUtilizes CorVel Intranet and SharePoint to remain current of all policies and procedures.\nRequires regular and consistent attendance.\nComplies with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).\nAdditional duties as required.\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nEffective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to meet designated deadlines.\nComputer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Outlook and Excel.\nStrong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.\nAbility to work both independently and within a team environment.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nPAY RANGE:\nCorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.\nFor leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
