Through working partnerships with CorVel’s clients, the coordinator will identify RTW potential and will coordinate activities to achieve return to work outcomes that are successful for our clients and the employee.\nThis is a remote position.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDirect contact with the client, injured employees and healthcare providers to determine RTW potential and coordinate RTW efforts\nActive participation in RTW efforts with examiner and nurse case managers\nActively works with physicians to clarify medical restrictions, limitations and their impact on work functionality\nWorks with client locations to identify job functions that can be modified and creates a bank of potential RTW job descriptions for future use\nMonitors injured workers' RTW status to increase functional ability before RTW period expires\nSets follow-ups to review claims where function is expected to increase and/or where release to RTW is anticipated\nAccurate RTW screen coding and documentation of RTW efforts and outcomes\nIdentify trends and barriers to RTW with internal partners (Customer Delivery) to develop proactive solutions\nAssist in internal and external audits and presentations, and participates in external customer meetings\nAdditional duties as assigned\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nConsiderable exposure to medical conditions and terminology; knowledge of impact of medical conditions on work functions, job task analysis and worksite accommodations\nConsiderable experience with presenting in front of external customers regarding trend analyses and consultative services on RTW\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal, negotiation, andcustomer serviceskills\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nAbility to prioritize, effectively manage multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines, while maintaining accuracy\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in vocational Rehabilitation or related field\nMinimum of3years' providing vocational rehabilitation services or3years as an occupational health nurse\nPAY RANGE:\nCorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.\nFor leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
