We believe a culture of caring, purposeful, diverse and courageous humans who want to make a difference for our partners will help us achieve that mission.\nHow You'll Contribute to the Team:\n\nThe Construction Project Engineer - Energy supports the planning, coordination, and execution of renewable energy construction projects, including solar and geothermal systems, by partnering closely with Project Managers and Superintendents. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with Corvias standards, contract requirements, and applicable codes.\nProject Engineers serve as a critical link between the field, project management, and design teams-supporting documentation, cost tracking, coordination, and communication throughout the construction lifecycle.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities Include:\nSupport Project Managers and Superintendents in day-to-day project execution and coordination.\nAssist with project planning activities including scheduling, phasing, scopes of work, estimating support, and budget tracking.\nParticipate in plan reviews, constructability reviews, and value engineering efforts.\nEnsure strict adherence to the pre-construction process, environmental protection measures, and the Company's Standard Operating Procedures.\nTrack project costs, assemble financial data, and support change management and documentation.\nMaintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, schedules, logs, and as-built records.\nAssist with subcontractor coordination, bid package development, buyout support, and contract administration.\nReview cost-to-date and delivery schedules with the local construction team on a weekly basis. Adjust operations as needed to ensure budgetary and schedule compliance.\nPromote and enforce Corvias’ Zero Tolerance Safety Standard; maintain required safety documentation.\nCoordinate inspections and testing; ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.\nPerform Quality Assurance checks on contractor work for verification of scope and quality.\nCommunicate schedule, cost, safety, and quality issues to project leadership in a timely manner.\nSupport project closeout, turnover documentation, and warranty-related activities.\nOther duties as assigned\nRole Specific Requirements Include:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.\n3+ years of construction experience preferred but will consider recent graduate; commercial or multi-family experience strongly preferred.\nStrong understanding of construction documents, building systems, and coordination across trades.\nExperience with energy efficiency, ESPC, or military installation projects a plus.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA Standards, Quality Control, Building codes, Green Building, and LEED a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Timberline/Sage, or similar tools preferred.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable.\nValid driver’s license required; ability to support multiple project sites as business needs require.\nCompetencies:\nCustomer Focus - Prioritizes and takes action on the needs of both internal and external customers.
