Those performing this job usually work alone and receive direction from Supervisors, Dispatchers, Warehouse Managers, and in some cases Transportation Managers.\nTo succeed as a driver with us you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to working safely, and enthusiastic about satisfying clients.\nOur drivers are expected to work on two different fronts:\nDelivering\nResponsible for the distribution/collection of material to/from clients as required. \nEnsure that the truck follows the required maintenance by DOT regulations and always travels with the necessary documentation. \nAssist in moving material in the warehouse with a forklift and/or overhead crane.\nPosition blocks and ties, straps/chains, and binders for cargo securement. \nAdministration\nMaintain driver’s logbook\nAccurate accounting of all freights delivered and/or picked up \nManage execution of all paperwork with special emphasis on inspections and hours of service required\nOther duties as assigned\nRoles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.\nWhat you need to succeed\nEXPERIENCE\nRequired:\n2+ years of experience driving with a Class B Driver’s License\nExperience & proficiency with DOT Cargo Securement/Load Regulations.\nClean Driving Record\nMust be able to pass random drug screens\nDesired:\nPrevious Stone industry experience\nEDUCATION\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma/GED\nAir Brake Endorsement \nSKILLS\nRequired:\nElectronic Log Device (GEOTAB)\nCargo Securement experience\nExperience managing email (Microsoft Outlook) \nAbility to carry and lift up to 40 lbs.\nWhat we do offer\nYou will join a company:\nWith an international mindset and presence in 100+ countries.\nWith an amazing growth story, sustained by extraordinary innovation with products such as Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa by Cosentino®.\nIn which you will be able to demonstrate your great sales set skills and grow your career in a challenging project.\nThe starting hourly range for this position is between $26 - 28/hr\nFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.\nBenefits:\nThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance.
